The DSL 40C and the DSL 100 are both built on the same chassis. The current DSL series is manufactured in Vietnam, hence the lower price. Both DSL series do provide that unmistakable Marshall sound. The new DSL amps are quite similar to the original JCM 2000 DSL series BUT, not exact reproductions.
